I wish to create a care plan for the ordinary elderly people in my home country
TRAN THI BICH HA
A foreign employee from Vietnam.
I went to Chubu Gakuin University after studying at a language school in Sapporo, and now I am working hard to obtain the qualification as a nursing care worker.
Since December 2017, I have been working a part-time job at the special nursing home "Nursing Care Kano" on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
The reason for taking this job
I want to provide a cordial care and support to the elderly, and aim to obtain the qualification as a care worker. Since the exam is in Japanese, I need to work hard in learning the difficult Kanji characters.
After working in the actual environment
Wakokai’s facilities are very clean, and the staff members are very kind and teach me many things proactively.
I am learning many things that I can only learn from doing the actual work, such as how to adjust the angle of the wheelchair for thin and large people. The users know that I am Vietnamese and they are very kind.
My country’s situation and my future dreams
In Vietnam, only wealthy people can receive nursing care services at the facilities, and there is a widespread concept that family members need to take care of them. I will study hard in Japan and, if I have the chance, I want to build a facility in Vietnam that resembles those in Japan, create care plans, and provide nursing care services for the ordinary elderly people in my home country.
Wakokai supports international students and technical interns who study nursing care technologies in Japan and work very hard every day to solve nursing care problems all over the world!
